After several years as a practicing psychologst, Christine Mulliez began concentrating on photography. She currently lives and works in Marseille.
Through her photographs she looks to maximise the beauty in everyday life; finding colour in the urban greyness and traces of life in abandoned spaces.
Mulliez plays with the relationship between people and space; intimate or non existant, and the sense of escapism, aversion or absorbtion provoked in each person by their surroundings.
By casting her eye over the landscape which surrounds her, Mulliez transforms it into a projection space which is offered up to the viewer for their own interpretation.
