Andrew Lever comes from Portsmouth in England and currently lives in Bournemouth. It was only after having worked in the Fashion & Advertising industry for 15 years that he began to really develop his passion for photography.
Andrew attended Bournemouth Arts Institute where he spent a lot of his time learning the traditional method of printing in darkrooms. It was during this time that his love of photography grew.
Andrew was a runner up for the 2006 Black and White Photographer of the Year Award from Black and White Photographer Magazine UK and in 2008, he was also awarded the Bronze and Merit Award from Black and White Magazine, USA. Following this in 2009, he held a joint exhibition at the Music Room Gallery in Mayfair and became a runner up in the Great British Summer Photo Competition. He also received the runner up for Professional Photographer of the Year for Contemporary Art.
Andrew’s photography focuses mainly on travel and documentary and prefers to work outdoors using natural light.
